WBI Participates in LA’s AIDS Walk

Despite advancements made in the treatment and prevention of HIV, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the overall rate of infection continues to rise. This is the reason behind the AIDS Walk Los Angeles, a 10-kilometer walkathon that benefits AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) in addition to several other local AIDS service organizations. For the past 25 years, APLA has been dedicated to providing bilingual services, prevention education, and leadership on HIV/AIDS-related policy and legislation.
